Valentines is Coming...Lets Have a Giveaway!

I love Valentines Day, so lets CELEBRATE by having my first giveaway. So many of you have left such sweet comments about my pincushions, and I have sold quite a few on my Etsy Shop. So that will be the Prize. This lovely mini teacup pincushion with matching gift bag and a new item that I am going to start stocking in the Etsy shop. They are wonderful little page markers and I'm going to sell them in sets of 6.

Even if you don't sew this would be a lovely addition to any craft room.
These would make a great little gift or a thank you for someone special.

How can you enter to win this giveaway? You can have two chances....

  1. First chance to win....Visit my Etsy Shop (click on the Etsy store button on the top right side of my blog). Leave a comment right after this post or email me if you don't have a blog but enjoy visiting. Please comment by giving me a suggestion about my Etsy Shop. I am new at selling on Etsy and I would like to know how I can improve it. Let me know what items you would like me add, what you don't think will sell and why, or even suggestions on adjusting my pricing. Whatever the comment is will be helpful.
2. Second chance to win.... Mention this giveaway linking back to this post. You can use my blog header to add to your post.

A winner will be selected and posted on Valentines Day, February 14th! Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend. Thanks for visiting and good luck.

Love is a symbol of eternity. It wipes out all sense of time,

destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end.

Hi Sherry!
LOVE your Blog! I ran across it from a tour somewhere else, I can't remember for sure where! I was interested because you were another Sherry (I spell my name with an "I")I liked your projects that you shared, so I kept coming back. I was very excited for you when you started your Etsy shop! I'd like to see some more of your aprons at your Etsy, but everything you have posted so far is just beautiful.
I'll do a post about your giveaway!
Have a great weekend!

If I order a memory picture, can I scan and send you the photo, or would you rather I mail one to you?

Sherry,

I love your pincushions and purple is my favorite color. I do not have an Etsy, but do purchase items from Etsy. Your merchandise looks good, I like the different views of each item for sale. Also, you are keeping a good supply of things for sale. I don't have any suggestions, it looks like you are off to a good start.

I don't sew, and I'm not crafty in the least, but my mom does and is, so this would make a GREAT Mother's Day gift for her!

I'll have to send her over to your blog. She's been wanting to find bloggers with interests in sewing.

I'm a new subscriber to your lovely blog. I am not very well acquainted with Etsy (yet!), but just visited your shop. I have to say the flirty pink apron and fairy cloche are my favorite items. I can't think of a thing I'd suggest changing, eXcept maybe to eXpand your inventory to include a few more apron styles and colors.

ThanX for a chance to enter your giveaway. Happy V-day!

Your Etsy collection is great! I think a great addition would be mother & daughter aprons.

I absolutely adore your tea cup pincushion. My daughter loves Alice in Wonderland and is a fashion design student and for some reason it just "feels" like her.
In regards to your Etsy shop I think you are very talented. I love how you take random objects and make pincushions out of them and then create matching bags.

I am not quite sure why I haven't been to your blog before! I was never an apron lover until Amy started posting pictures of the ones she had and then some of yours and I have to say, the last one was absolutely amazing and congratulations...it was stunning!

I would love to enter your contest and I am going to check out your Etsy store now.

Like I said before, you use the cutest little cups! This is adorable, as usual! I love the page markers...very cute! I can't help you with the Etsy store question, you seem to have done a very nice job on it already! Maybe you could add aprons in bigger sizes.

Sherry, you know how much I LOVE everything you do:) Your Etsy looks great to me, all I would say is just keep making items that seem to be "hot" sellers, like the pincushions, and then just introduce maybe one or two new items (limited quantity)every week or so and and see if the customers buy them up quickly. If so, MAKE MORE!!!!**I have a feeling that your rooster tassels are going to be very popular, too!!

Sherry,
I am here because I found your info on my daughter's blog. I LOVE to sew. I am not an excellent seamstress, but I get so much enjoyment and pleasure from it. I go crazy when I get in a fabric shop. My basement (sewing area) looks like a fabric shop because when Hancock closed their store here about a year ago, I thought I might never see one again and I loaded it. If what they say is true about not dying until you get all your projects finished I will be around for a LOOONNNGG time. Unfortunaley, I find myself buying up project materials before I can get any of my existing ones even started. My dream would be to come down to my basement and stay all day, but alas, there is cleaning, cooking and taking care of my "boys." My boys are, of course, my husband, Joe and our two Chihuahuas, Mule and Dingo. They keep me busy just keeping up with them and their antics. I would love to drop by your site often. Your items for sale are beautiful. O BTW, apron making is ONE of my favorite things to make. I guess because I love wearing them also.

Will drop by later.
