Here's what you can win.

Now, for my latest project that I want to share with you.
This gift was for my nephew's first baby. I truly wanted to make a "Creations From My Heart". I decided to create a book to hold all the wonderful memories of the babies first year. I knew the baby was going to be a girls. Whippiee! I never get to make girly things. This was my chance to go all out and make it totally girly with lots of bling and glam. Here is the cover of the book.
I printed the words "Baby's first 12 Months" on vellum and glued the piece of vellum to the cover. When I post later this week, I'll show the a trick with using your printer and vellum paper. so come back and visit.
I found this glass flower at Michaels Crafts.
It was a pretty pink color. I added a button and put a rhinestone in the center. The paper I used was from a paper pack, which I purchased from Joann Fabrics. Here's a tip....When doing a project like this, purchase the paper packs. Many times you can get them for half off, which is about $10.00. The reason I like using them, is because all the papers are coordinating. It takes the guess work out of picking out papers that match and the price is less than what you would pay for individual specialty sheets. I just loved the colors and all the glitter.
I also printed the baby's name out on vellum. After printing out the names, I tore the edges and then applied gold paint.
Some pretty ribbons where attached to the rings of the book.
This is the inside of the cover.
On the computer I printed off a chart to record the baby's growth. I love to use rhinestones to embellish my projects.
I think they add lots of BLING!
Here's the inside of the back cover.
I made a little pocket so that little momentos can be tucked away.
The paper was embellished with beautiful glittered words. I put my little stamp on the back cover.
I am finishing up the inside pages. I am making a page for each month. Check back later this week to see the finished project. I'll have lots of photos to share with you. If you are looking for more creative inspiration take a look at some of the blogs below that I will be linking this post to...
