A Graduation Memory Board to Treasure...

My latest episode of "Fancy That" is now airing on the local Cable TV.  The show is all about making a graduation memory board.  If you have a graduate this year or if you are going to be attending a graduation grab a cup of coffee, relax and enjoy the show....

Fancy That: GRADUATION BOARD from Shelby Tv on Vimeo.

This graduation board makes a wonderful gift for the graduate....

I just photo copied the 8x10 graduation picture and
edited it by adding the school name.

I used my circuit machine with the storybook cartridge to cut out the embellishments.

I also added a 5x7 graduation print.

I double matted all the pictures.

All the words were printed off on cardstock using my printer .
I just used different fonts and sizes.  It's a lot less expensive than using stickers.

I found the perfect ribbon a Michaels Crafts for the board.

I have had this poem for quite some time.
I just love what it says...

The tassel adds a special touch.

I used acrylic stamps to put the saying on the board.

Here's the gradution board that I made my son last year.
  These were his school colors.

We also filmed a short segment that will be airing separately.
It was a graduation centerpiece that is fun,
 festive and easy to make.
When it is on the air I will post the link.

I used different graduation pictures and lots of candy!

Well  I hope I got you thinking about creating a memory board.  If you have an up coming graduation party that you are planning or will be attending, consider creating a wonderful "Gift From Your Heart".  It is sure to become a treasured memory!  I'll be linking up to the following creative sites....

What a great idea! Since I have a year before my son graduates, maybe I'll even find the time to make one for him!

I agree with a previous poster, I'm pretty sure this is the nicest graduation display I have seen!

Hi Sherry, I love all of your creations, this is a perfect idea for graduation, especially for the boys. It's harder to create something for them, but you never seem to have a problem with that. Love everything you do. I'm visiting from Transformation Thursday. I hope you have a wonderful day.

This looks as though it took a lot of time. I admire those that can turn paper and pictures into pieces of art.
