A PINK Thank You for PINK Saturday

Welcome to PINK Saturday... Lots of PINK to look at today at "How Sweet the Sound". I wanted to share a PINK pincushion creation that I made this week for a sweet friend. My friend Sharon is a wonderful faux painter and is currently helping me out on a project in my house. She does beautiful work and in the past has blessed me with her talents. I saw her this week and wanted to bring her a little "Thank You" gift. So here's what I came up with.
I knew that she does some sewing so I thought that she might
enjoy this teacup pincushion.
I recently found these tiny spoons and I knew they would be perfect to add to the pincushions. I embellished the spoon with a fancy button.

I wrapped My "Gift From the Heart" with a BIG PINK bow and delivered it to Sharon. It is such a blessing to me to have friends who are so giving of their time and talents.

Here are some wonderful PINK Saturday bloggers who are having giveaways..."The Creative Hare" is having an great apron giveaway, "Some Place in Thyme" is giving away a beautiful pincushion, "Happily Ever After" has lots of paper crafting items and "Pimp & Paint" is giving away a wonderful pendant that she created.

Hoping your weekend is filled with sunshine and happiness.

"Nothing is more beautiful than an act of kindness from a friend."

  6. Oh Sherry, How pink is that?
What a wonderful thank you gift. That pin cushion is so delightful and fresh. I love the spoon too. That button just took the cake on that one. Looks like you even made a few pretty pink pins to go along. So precious. I also love the little girl card. Priceless look on their faces. Thanks for sharing. Please stop by and let me share my PS post with you. I also have a new blog introduction that I would so love for you to visit. She is new and fresh and happens to be my daughter. Country hugs sweetie, Sherry

  9. Hi Sherry, thanks for dropping by my blog. To answer your question about photoshop, I actually use photoshop elements and I have been teaching myself also. I have learned a lot, but there is a whole lot I don't know. If you have photoshop instead of photoshop elements, I would not be qualified to teach you. I can give you a couple of websites that might be able to help you though. http://coffeeteaphotography.blogspot.com/ and the pioneer woman are great resources. I hope this has helped you. Let me know if I can further help.
