Loved this chair I spotted in the Horchow magazine....
Not so much the price tag that went along with it!
Using two different fabric patterns adds interest....
Stripes and prints CAN work well together!
So I was on the hunt for the PERFECT chair.
A trip to HomeGoods and there it was, just waiting for me.
Well, not so perfect.
But I could look past the fabric.
I would change that.
I picked out a wonderful tapestry print for the back of the chair and an olive green faux leather embossed fabric for the seat.
I also added the tapestry print to the back side of the chair.
I made a bolster pillow with some coordinating fabrics and trim.
The PERFECT chair now sits next to the fireplace.
My patience paid off.
I got the look I wanted,
for not the high price tag in the magazine!
This week I'll be linking up to the following sites....

Oh my gosh, Sherry! You did a fantastic job getting the Horchow look on a Home Goods price! Although, the way you got it would work really well in my guest bedroom. I think I may have to find out where the Home Goods is in my new home state!
ReplyDeleteLove what you done here with the chair! How pretty! I gotta pin this to my Makeover board on Pinterest! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
