A Pretty PINK Baby Album

Over the years I have missed the opportunity of making girly things, being that I have two sons.  When I found out my nephew  was having a baby girl I couldn't wait to begin creating some PINK girly things for my new Great Niece.  PINK Saturday is the perfect time to share my new creation with you.  Last week I shared with you the engagement photo album I made. I posted what type of photo album I purchased to make this book. You can view the informaion  HERE.  Many of you wrote to me saying that you would like to make one for a baby.  So let me share this with you...

I used a few different designs and shades of Pink ribbon . A pocket that has some buttons is used to hold the decorative tag.

I love the PINK and Green colors. What a great color combination for a sweet little baby book.  A pearl button and some rhinestones differently make this a girly book.

The ribbons that are used to tie the album shut are attached with buttons with a rhinestone in the center.  The inside of the book  was decorated with a bible verse.

This is one of my favorite bible verses.  I love to add it to any of my baby gifts.

If you love the color PINK, pop on over to Cottage Dreamer, I found the most wonderful PINK pincushion.    Now that is girly and it's PINK!

Thanks for stopping by. I am working on a few other albums I'd love for you to stop by this week to see them.  I;ll be linking this post to ...

  2. This is beautiful, Sherry! You put so much detail into these albums. I love the way it looks and how you finished off the inside (from the front cover). The buttons are a lovely touch with the rhinestones in the center. I like pink and green together for a girl, too.

  6. What a wonderful Pink Saturday post! I just ♥ the fact that each of us shares such a variety of items - that's one reason why this event is never boring. Always something fun, new, lovely or interesting around the corner.

As the mother of two sons I can sympathize. I now have a grand-daugher that feeds my need for pink☺

Thanks for sharing a part of yourself today☺ Cold, gloomy day today but, as always, bright and sunny on the Pink Saturday blogs.

♫Wishing you sunshine and happiness this weekend!♫
